The spacers were just a little wide so I added a bit of a recess to fit over the corresponding part of the skid plate.









My first attempt at making a hinge.



After a coat of Olive Drab I think it will be just right.



I've got the chassis just about where I want it. I'll wait to see what the final weight of it is before I decide on the final shock length, She is riding kind of high but I'll use this mock up for now.









Here is a snap I took while trying out different shocks, a little out of position but you get the idea.



Well like most of you I'm sure, it's been a little cold out in the shop recently with all the climate change blowing in from the great white north!

Here's a quick update:

I used a piece of Delrin as a platform to mount the motors, trans and steering servo.
