I took some video with my new GoPro, but apparently there is a learning
curve that I need to climb. I didn't get any good footage till I was
recording my JK.
I made a couple of cool little latches to hold the hood in place. I have some very strong magnets holding it down but the hood popped open on it's first rollover.
Added a CB radio and whip antenna
I have to give a shout out to Holmes. "thumbsup"
Two 55 turn motors wired in parallel and a torquemaster ESC and all 18
pounds wants to climb straight up a wall!
I needed to add some recovery shackles to the bumpers so I roughed out
some aluminum triangles, drilled them and bolted them together. After
some shaping and fine tuning I drilled and tapped them.
... and a little light bar to help light
up the night.
I finely mounted the pintle hitch and found a spot I wanted to mount the
jack.
The Holmes TorqueMaster doesn't come with an on/off switch, so when I
relocated the battery I added a switch to a new battery harness.
I also switch out the 6t pinion for a 12t and covered the motors with
BWD Derlin motor sav'r. It scooted pretty fast across the garage, if it
ever stops raining I'll have to see how the gear change effects the
climbing torque.
